Roy & Nancy Toma - Iwakuni A Project of Japan Missions

The Toma's

Roy and Nancy Toma are career missionaries, who arrived in Iwakuni, Japan, in June 2013. Iwakuni is located in western Japan, one hour west of Hiroshima by car.It has a population of about 140,000. They are serving at Calvary Chapel Iwakuni, an international church, that reaches out to English and Japanese speakers. They have lived in Japan since 2003, serving in Okinawa (2003-2011) and in Sendai/Ishinomaki (2011-2012).

They are serving as JEMS missionaries at Calvary Chapel Iwakuni. The church is located just outside of the U.S. Marine Corp. Air Station Iwakuni, and it is predominately an English-speaking church. This gives them the privilege of ministering to both the U.S. military and Japanese communities.

Roy, Nancy, and their son, Joseph are doing a variety of ministries in the church, such as a Bible English class, Japanese Bible studies, administration, and reaching out to the community with love of Jesus Christ.

Their mission is to make disciples that make disciples and give the people of Iwakuni a chance to say yes to Jesus Christ.
